Prevent Text Copying

You can prevent viewers from selecting and copying text from your articles within your knowledge base. This can be set natively within Google Docs or externally on a PDF.

Note: This is not supported on Slides, Sheets or Forms 

How to prevent Google Docs content from being copied 

Open up the “Share Permissions” of the Doc

Click on the  ⚙️

Unselect “Viewers and commenters can see the option to download, print, and copy” Image 3  

How to prevent PDF content from being copied 

You’ll need to add copy protection to your PDFs to prevent their content from being copied. This link  details how to add copy protection to your PDFs.
